Thane.com had me on the $56/mo x 4 months payment plan as originally agreed upon in March 2010, but when I called in April to give a different credit card number, the telemarketer changed my billing status to "pay in full." He did not ask permission nor inform me of this change! When I saw the $256 charge to my bank account, which was $25 more than I owed even if I DID want to pay in full, I called Thane.
I was told they could not correct their error, apologized for the obvious mistake, and that there was not a single supervisor in the office to talk to me! That extra $200 was supposed to be my car payment!
